Fly Line Facts examines the dynamics of the fly line. Some of the articles presented are extremely technical. While most of the mathematical formulas for Fly line Free Fall and Loop Dynamics are beyond the laymen's ability to interpret they never the less offer valuable insight into the "why" of what is happening when casting a fly line. Other articles presented here will address taper design and usage as well as the basic physics of how a fly line works. We would like to offer thanks and acknowledge the contributions of Professor Noel Perkins, and Bruce Richards of Scientific Anglers for providing some of the articles found in Fly line Facts. We hope to see more of Richard's and Perkin's work as it becomes available. So stay tuned….
