CAST 12. Demonstrate a Double Spey cast. The use of a single handed rod is allowed if a double handed rod and facilities are not available.

As seen in the video clip, the caster repositions the line TWICE, (hence the term Double Spey), allowing for the D loop to be formed and positioned 180 degrees from the intended target plane. Finish the cast using the forward casting stroke. Again this is a bare bones description of a Double Spey.
